HIFU or Ultherapy (Face Lift) A face lift can sometimes do wonders, make you look many years younger even. Ultherapy is the non-surgical treatment method that uses ultrasound to tighten and lift the skin on the face and neck. The focused ultrasound energy penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin and stimulates the growth of collagen. This makes the skin supple, tight and youthful looking. The results are apparent soon after the procedure but improve over the next few months as the collagen grows, leading to better skin tone. It is safe and effective technique for a quick face lift.
The name may suggest otherwise, but the Vampire Facelift is actually a very simple and effective facial rejuvenation technique, and is popular worldwide. Justifying its name, the procedure involves drawing a small amount of blood from the patient, which is then processed to separate the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). The platelet rich plasma is then injected into the layers under the skin over the area to be treated, using a fine needle. Local anaesthetic cream is applied to the area before the procedure.
Platelet rich plasma is rich in growth factors and stimulates the cells in the skin to proliferate and repair the surrounding tissue. This adds volume and improves blood supply to the area, smoothening fine lines and wrinkles and adding glow to the face. As the platelets are your own, there is no risk of an allergic reaction.
PRP for Hair
PRP FOR HAIR LOSS : An effective new strategy
Hair is our crowning glory and dense and healthy hair can greatly enhance ones looks and personality. The problem of thinning hair and male pattern baldness is an increasing one, with the stress and pollution of current day lifestyle being an additional factor.
This has led to investment in research in techniques to combat this problem. One effective strategy that has emerged is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy.
The beauty of this technique is that it uses the patient’s own cells (platelets) to rejuvenate, heal and encourage growth of hair follicles. Platelets are cells present in our blood. A small amount of blood is withdrawn from the patient and this is centrifuged (spun at high speed) to separate the platelets. This platelet rich solution is then injected into the patients scalp over the areas to be treated using very fine needles. The skin is numbed before that by using a local anaesthetic cream. Platelets are rich is growth factors and induce healing of the hair roots, increasing the blood flow and making them healthier and stronger. This procedure is being used effectively for rejuvenation of the facial skin and is known as the Vampire face-lift. Before this, PRP was used in surgical applications and wound care. Its use in managing hair loss is relatively new, but is rapidly becoming very popular, due to its ease and effectiveness.
PRP can be done as a standalone procedure or in combination with a hair transplant. Depending on the degree of hair loss, your doctor may recommend several sessions at regular intervals to maximize the results.
This procedure is done as a outpatient and you can go home the same day. If you are on any medications, especially blood thinning drugs, do let the doctor know. As the patients’ own blood cells are being used, there is no risk of an allergic reaction. Apart from minor bruising, which settles in about 48 hours, there are no complications of this procedure.
As the popular saying goes to say, 'Age is nothing but a number', we should not let age dampen neither our appearance, nor our enthusiasm and zest for life.
Anti-ageing medicine relates to diagnosis and management of age related problems. We focus on the effect of age on our skin and aesthetic appearance. A combination of treatments is used to try and stop, delay and possibly reverse the effects of ageing on our skin. Advice about healthy lifestyle and dietary changes, vitamin supplementation, topical creams and various facial rejuvenation techniques are combined according to your needs.
Botulinum Toxin (Botox) Injections
Whatever you do, you can't escape the pollution that surrounds you. And over time, the combined effect of age and pollution shows on your skin. Botox injection is basically another non-surgical procedure that helps you reduce the effects of the same on your skin.
Botulinum is a substance produced by a type of bacteria and causes paralysis of muscles. The human face has 43 muscles, and with time, fine line and wrinkles appear on our face, especially where there is sustained and frequent muscle contraction causes the skin to wrinkle. So as we age we are prone to get frown lines and lines around eyes and mouth.
A purified form of this toxin in injected on to the facial muscles using a very fine needle. This weakens or paralyses the muscle, which is now unable to contract as well, thus smoothening the wrinkles. A word of caution - due to the large number of muscles on the face, only trained and experienced personnel should be carrying out this procedure.
Our age doesn't need to show on our skin, does it? But the fact is that as we age, there is a gradual loss of subcutaneous tissue, which causes the skin to sag and lose its lustre. Filler injections are a non-surgical cosmetic treatment used to add volume and smoothen fine lines and wrinkles usually on the face. They could be used to add volume on other parts of the body, like the lips. By restoring the volume to these areas, the skin looks smoother and softer, resulting in a fresher and more youthful appearance. Earlier collagen was used but since it was derived from cattle skin, newer substances such as RESTYLANE, containing Hyaluronic acid have become available and are hugely popular. Fat, removed from the patient by liposuction, can also be used as a filler.
Each treatment takes about 20 minutes and the results are instantaneous. Local anaethestic is injected prior to the treatment to make it comfortable.
You may have wished for all that excess fat to just melt away, isn't it? Well, the Injection Lipolysis lets you do just that.
It is a non-invasive procedure that requires multiple fine injections of active ingredients into the treatment area beneath the skin to melt away fat and expel it from the body. The theory behind Lipolysis is that together the ingredients cause fat to liquify, dissolve and be eliminated from the body. Various ingredients may be used including combinations of vitamins and certain medications, depending upon the particular clinical condition.
The active substance is injected via very thin needles. Injection Lipolysis is best suited for areas of soft fat on the belly, the face, the inside of the thighs, the back and hips. Injection Lipolysis therapy also achieves good results on cellulite. The number of treatments differs from person to person, depending upon the type of fat, body region and body size. Generally two to four sessions at two months intervals may be required for completion of treatment. Lipolysis is meant for small areas of fat deposit, and liposuction would be a preferred method for larger areas.
Mesotherapy Mesotherapy (from Greek Mesos, "Middle", and therapy from Greek Therapeia, "to treat medically") is a non-surgical cosmetic medicine treatment. Mesotherapy employs multiple injections of pharmaceutical and homeopathic medications, plant extracts, vitamins, and other ingredients into subcutaneous fat. Mesotherapy injections allegedly target adipose fat cells, apparently by inducing Lipolysis, rupture and cell death among adipocytes (cells that store energy as fat).
Did you know that eating popsicles could cause dimples in your cheeks? Well, this observation by scientists at Harvard University gave them the idea that cold can target fat cells - without damaging the skin or surrounding tissue - and gave them the insight behind Cryolipolysis.
Cryolipolysis works to reduce fat in specific areas of the body and is most commonly used on the stomach and back. Cryolipolysis is not a permanent solution to fat loss; whilst it can reduce fat cells that are already present, it cannot prevent remaining fat cells from increasing in size so individuals will have to maintain their fat loss either through a combination of diet and exercise or further Cryolipolysis procedures. There is hardly any recovery time or any side effects

This includes sessions with our nutritionist to chart out a diet that is as healthy as it is flavourful. A diet that nourishes your body making it fitter than ever before. When you get a tattoo done, you don't imagine that you would want to remove it someday, do you? In case you decide to, there's always the option of Cosmetic Tattoo Removal. It requires knowledge and skill as it is often performed on delicate areas of the body including eyebrows and lips. Safety and gentle treatment are key to successful cosmetic laser tattoo removal.
Here are a few procedures that we employ to get rid of your unwanted tattoos:
Excision: For a small tattoo, excision involves removing the tattooed area of skin and then stitching it closed. For a larger tattoo, the skin is removed and a skin graft from another part of the body is used to cover the area.
Dermabrasion: Dermabrasion uses a rotary abrasive tool to sand off the layers of the skin, thus obliterating the tattoo.
Laser: The surgeon can control the width of the laser beam as well as the wavelength (or color) of the light. Different wavelengths are used to destroy different colors of ink. Precise focusing makes it possible to eliminate the tattoo without damaging the surrounding skin.
Laser Hair Reduction Tired of running to the parlour every now and then, aren't you? If you're frustrated with shaving, tweezing, or waxing to remove unwanted hair, then laser hair removal is for you. It is a non-invasive, convenient way to permanently reduce unwanted facial or body hair. The process takes from several minutes to several hours, depending on the area of the body involved. Laser hair removal uses a low-energy laser. The laser energy passes through the patient's skin, being absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle. A percentage of the follicles are instantaneously and permanently disabled with each treatment. In most cases, no anesthesia is necessary.
Thermage is a proven, popular procedure used to tighten and lift the facial skin to make it appear smoother, radiant and more youthful. It uses radiofrequency energy to create heat energy in the deeper layers of the skin. The collagen under the skin is stimulated to heal and contract. This leads to tighter and fuller skin and a radiant appearance of the face.
With ageing there is loss of fat and subcutaneous tissue supporting the facial skin. This causes the skin to sag with the appearance of wrinkles. Other causes of sagging skin are smoking, pollution, ill-health, sudden and excessive weight loss.
The radiofrequency energy is delivered to the skin with a smooth, flat tipped hand piece. This energy is able to penetrate the deeper layers, which contain collagen. This stimulates the formation of more collagen over time, thus acting like natural filler.
The advantages of Thermage are

Acne: is a chronic skin disease that occurs when hair follicles get obstructed with dead skin cells and oil from the skin. Acne is characterized by areas of blackheads, whiteheads, pimples, and greasy skin, and may result in scarring. The resulting appearance can lead to anxiety, reduced self-esteem, depression and other psychological problems.
